Swkpatis (real name-Socrates Vrysopoulos) is an amateur modern painter, born in Greece.

Since he was a teenager he started painting, first with watercolor and tempera painting techniques and then after the age of 22, with oil painting techniques. He attended contemporary painting lectures in Athens and the UK. His main influences find roots in fauvism, modernism and post-impressionism and influences from the works of Matisse, Braque, van Gogh, Gauguin, Laval, Cezanne, Maleas, Klimt.

 

Due to his main profession as a lawyer, he paints as an amateur painter.
